If people don’t know you’re there, they won’t be putting any effort in on trying to connect with you. This makes it so you have to do all the work on your side to connect with them.

What are you doing? Are you just starting out? Are you concentrating on the growth and expansion of your business? Are you a pioneer paving the way for others like you? Are you innovating, inventing or building upon existing technologies in your field? Perhaps you are accomplishing things, making your goals and winning awards? Maybe you’re in a pivotal transition and you’re looking for your next big move?

But if no one knows about it, is it really even happening?

Make yourself known. Get yourself noticed by those you have noticed and once you make contact, maintain consistent communication to keep yourself relevant.
